Hot Dogs on the Flat Top
« Reply #-1 on: November 09, 2017, 07:35:45 PM »
Seems like all I want to do is cook on the flat top! LOL

Today I cooked hot dogs. I have been reading a lot about them and decided it was time.

We used Oscar Meyer beef dogs. I split two and left two in tact.

I put butter on the griddle. Put the dogs on. Sprinkled with garlic, salt, and pepper.

Toasted the rolls and we were ready to eat!

We each had a split and an intact dog. We decided that splitting was a waste. We also decided that the salt was not needed. But it was an awesome cook and we will be having hot dogs again! Next up, Nathan's versus Oscar Meyer.

To be continued......

If I wasn't a member of this forum, I would still be cooking on one grill! LOL

Many thanks to everyone who helps the less experienced.

Good looking dogs. Gotta have chili, cheese, and onions in mine.
