There are no discounts for forum members that I am aware of but the PBC is worth every penny IMHO...

I've had mine for 3 months and just purchased one for my parents for a combined Mothers and Fathers Day gift.  You can't go wrong with a PBC imo.

It's a cool cooker for a great price. It is easy to use but a word of caution, the food it creates is HEAVY on charcoal flavoring. I wish I had known that prior to ordering as my wife is NOT the biggest fan of that strong taste. I can deal with it but prefer a less pronounced charcoal taste like I get on my kamados. If you're used to Kingsford's flavor then you'll love it! It IS a nice piece of equipment and I look forward to seeing your posts once you fire that bad boy up ;)

It will be the best $299 you will spend. I've had mine a little over a year and it is almost a set and for get cooker and sooo easy to clean. I have yet to cook anything on it that people didn't rave over the food. I do use Stubbs with a couple of chunks most of the time.

I might get one too, but in the meantime putting 2 pieces of tin foil down works just fine.  I've never had to lift the barrel upside down to clean it.

Agree on the heavy charcoal taste.  I'm a recent PBC buyer and was turned off by the charcoal taste.  Tried a cook with hardwood lump and that has made all the difference for me.  No charcoal taste.  Disclaimer: I'm a noob and still working this out.

I still love the taste of Stubbs, it's much more of a wood grilled flavor than the Kingsford Blue taste
