The Steak cook off Association is well on its way and growing by leaps and bounds during its firsr year.  Check out steakcookoffs.com. Yours truly ran the Warren, Ar. Cook off this weekend on behalf of SCA and had a blast with my cooking family of steak competitors, including our very own Palmy!  Stay tuned as we enter our 2nd year.

Good to see you last Saturday, Curtislowe! Hey yall, we placed last Saturday  ;D  It was just the WRONG place  :-[  But let me say this.  We had a good time cooking at this one. It is a young competition that will no doubt grow in the next few years. People like Mr. Curtislowe ( Chip ) working with the SCA is what we need. LOTS of hard work goes into these competitions over a long period of time. These competitions don't just happen all at once. It takes a lot of effort from a lot of people to make them happen. Not to take anything away from the BBQ competitions, but, this is a whole new critter. More "crowd involved" with lots of interaction with the cook teams and the public, that BBQ competitions seem to drift away from.
Look up the SCA and come see us at a steak cook off when you can  :)
