Belated Easter Dinner Pictures
« Reply #-1 on: April 11, 2015, 03:13:12 AM »
I know it is a bit late, but I am finally getting around to posting our Easter dinner pictures.  Our two tables seated ten hungry people.  I cooked two boneless legs of lamb on the MAK using a blend of oak, hickory and cherry.  For side dishes I prepared a crunchy pea salad (with lots of bacon in it), Ramen slaw, and a potato dish my Mother used to make (modified by yours truly) called Those Potatoes.  Tim brought his famous (or soon to be famous) Cider Mill fresh ham.  He made one for his New Years Eve party.  It is the best ham I have ever eaten.  I asked him if he would make one for me for Easter.  Since he agreed to deliver, he also got to stay for dinner.  For desserts, besides all the obligatory Easter candy, I prepared a SV cheesecake made with Calvados Cream liquor and two kinds of homemade chocolates (butter creams and coconut Easter eggs).  The SV cheesecake was very rich, but definitely a winner.

Here are a few of the pictures Tim took.

All-in-all, a really great meal.  I sure wish I had more of Tim’s ham.  Melt-in-your-mouth GOOD!!
