Tenderloins

I went to Costco on Saturday and saw that they had choice whole tenderloins on sale, $20.00 off at checkout. I picked up a 5 pound one that ended up costing $38.00 after discount making it under $8.oo/lb, close to like $7.60/lb I think! For that good of a steak I was all too happy to pay that for it! When we got home, I cut it into 13 steaks and vac sealed them individually. All except for 3 of them that is. Those were pan fried for dinner and they were some of the best steaks I've had in a LONG time! My wife said that she wished that we bought more. The sale was good through the 3rd so I went back today and bought 2 more, lol.

I plan on cooking some this weekend on the Flat Top if it comes in by then. I am also going to dry age one if not both of the ones I bought today. I just ordered some UMAI dry age bags for just that purpose ;)

A revolving door of cookers and smokers. Some are keepers, some are here today, gone tomorrow!
