The Road to Waco
« Reply #-1 on: August 26, 2017, 04:01:33 PM »
Well, looks like (knock on wood) our escrow is closing on Monday the 28th here in California. We will be out on the road mid-day and should reach Waco/Woodway Wednesday evening. We are not driving all out like our house hunting weekend because we will have the dogs and cats and want them to stretch their legs nightly in a air-conditioned room.

Gonna pull the plug on the computer on Sunday and should have service in Texas sometime on 9/1.

Should miss the storm since we will be traveling through the desert on Interstate 10 but might hit some rain and wind when we reach the Waco area.

So yall be good while The Smoke is on the road  ;)

God Bless Texas and all who can be affected by this terrible storm.

See ya California................we gone  8)

Hey, smoke, be safe on your drive to McGregor. When you get to El Paso you're almost home...well, maybe half way home. At least, when you pass El Paso you can drive a lot faster. Safe travels.
