Y'all in FL, GA, NC and wherever Irama heads to

BE SAFE.

We left Wed for N, GA to our daughters. What normally takes 7 hours took us almost 18 hours. Got all our important papers, comps and pups. Will we have a 5th wheel when we get back? 50/50

Take care everyone.

Prayers to all in the path.
Sometimes you have to go in a circle to reach your destination.

  Yes be safe out there.
I-10 is jam packed headed into Mobile Al. People crashing in the tunnels all day. If anyone is headed this way watch the traffic. There are a couple ways around this between Pensacola Fl and Spanish Fort Al if your prepared.
Feel free to contact me and I can check the road reports and help you around if need be. Just don't wait too late. Once you have passed Hwy 181 you're cooked! Right now there are about 4 traffic standstills in a 20 mile stretch.
If you want to go north to I-65 do it sooner than later...  At least take Hwy 59 N and it will save you HOURS and about 50 miles.

It looks like we will get a lot of rain and some 30-40 mph winds here in Dothan, AL. Hwy 231 going north is bumper to bumper and there are no hotel rooms from here to Birmingham. I am stocked up with beer, water and bacon so we should be OK.
