If you want to see how much abuse a cooker can take by all means send it to me. I did a lot of cooking on my CB Double Chef Smoker and I finally killed it sad to say. For a fraction of the cost this smoker was just as good as the WSM in my opinion and I cooked on it to prove it.

I went to cook on it New Years Eve and went to check the ash pan and it just fell off. I was surprised but was gonna cook on it anyway when I looked on the inside and could just push through the bottom.

I will take the blame for it's possible early death. This is the smoker I used my weed torch to light a few times till I saw it burned the paint off. I did repaint it but that is where the rust started I'm sure.

Thank you to the great and generous folks at Char-Broil for the cooker!

I'm salvaging the stainless steel racks. Heck I could save the whole top and use it in my weber kettle. Hmmmm? Let me see how that fits and get back to yall.

I bet I cooked a solid TON on meat thru that bad boy.

And yes I got my money's worth out of it for sure.

I once told somebody that I'd worn out a bunch of grills and smokers and they laughed at me and said that was impossible.  Au contraire, mon frere -- you just proved the point.  Lots of heating up and cooling down and acidic meat juices will eventually get to even the best and the toughest.  RIP old cooker  :'(
