We - here in the USA think of "BBQ" as our heritage food, and often forget that BBQ - (or "braai" in Afrikaans) has a large cutural impact in what is truly one of the farthest countries from us in terms of physical distance.

Yet - amazingly, BBQ or braai, or whatever it is called in any culture - brings us together to fulfill more than merely the need for physical nourishment. It  is a soul nourishing experience.

So whether you prefer to call it a cookout, a BBQ ,  - or a braai it is really is about " Food, Fun, and Fellowship"  All the makings of great memories!

That was nice T!! Just goes to show ya that it don't matter what you look like when you are standing around some smoking charcoal!!  The world would be a better place if we all lived by Roy Rogers Cowboy Code and if everyone owned a pit!!
