How about we work on a Cookbook?
« Reply #-1 on: November 30, 2011, 05:12:45 PM »
Just tossing this out there because  sites like this are great places for companies to harvest Content and Recipes. Why not write yer own?

Maybe do an Annual Cookbook from that year's contributions. Never know it might go big and make one of yall a big name by being in it.

Could be a Hard Print Book, PDF or interactive Flash thing.

I was told don't write a cookbook to make money but have yer name on a cookbook to brag about.

A few of mine and more I posted at a Grill maker's site made it in their cookbook. They did have my permission and I was never told I would be paid which is fine because like I said "I'm in a Big Cookbook for bragging rights".

I have a few ideas but wanted to just toss one out for now.

Thoughts and Ideas?

I think it is a great idea Mike!

Do you think we should set up a seperate board for the recipes to be made available for publishing? Maybe call it something specific to that point? How would we offer such to print or to compnaies that want permission to use the recipes for print?
Thanks for your suggestion - please - keep 'em comin'!

I might be able to scare up a recipe or two out of my files. Been pondering a cookbook myself but just haven't found the right program to write it up on just yet.
