First Ribs on the Big Easy

I love this cooker! Seems like you can not go wrong.

We looked at the weather and this past Thursday was the perfect day to be outside cooking. I had the recipe prepared. I got it from this forum, but I can't remember who posted it. May have been Tommy. But anyway thanks to whoever shared it!

I cooked the ribs naked for about 40 minutes after removing the membrane and putting the hangers in.

I removed them when they were just starting to get that crispy bark.

I put some dry rub on them, wrapped them in foil, and laid them in the basket for an additional 40 minutes. (I got the dry rub recipe from the free Big Easy Cooking guide from lifesatomato.com)

Pulled them out and put some Sweet Baby Ray's on them. Rewrapped them and put them on for about 10 more minutes.

The wife had made cole slaw and we ate well! These will be a regular in our house!

Should have took a photo of the inside. LOL!

So, let's see

 - 40 minutes naked
 - 40 minutes wrapped with rub
 - 10 minutes wrapped with sauce

An hour and half to great looking, and I'm sure, great tasting ribs . . . not bad, not bad at all ! ! !
