Misc Cold Smoked Cheese
« Reply #-1 on: February 12, 2014, 11:36:26 AM »
Did 8 small blocks of cheese yesterday. Used my AMZNPS no heat or ice. I get better smoke with the pellets over the Bradley pucks.

Muenster x2
X sharp
Mild
Pep Jack
Jalapeno Jack
Swiss
Sharp

2.5 hours of smoke, now resting before vac seal.

Will try in couple months.

Still need to do my first round of cheese with my new Amaze-N tube.  What flavor/brand of pellets are you using?

Nice, wish Kimmie liked smoked cheese.  Wonder how you can burn it without making it complete charcoal? ;)

Coat the cheese in some Tatonka Dust for her.  It will look just like charcoal dust.
