Just joined, from Racine WI.    Retired after 23 years in the US Air Force.

Bought a Rectec 680 2 years ago and been hooked since.

Don't smoke as much in the winter, but will be getting after it soon.

Looking forward to sharing smoke stories with you all.

Glad you joined us. Plenty of recipes and lots of friendly folks to talk BBQ and all forms of cooking with here. Just watch Pappymn....he is the only bad influence. After all....he is one of those guys from 'Merica's Icebox.... ;) ;D

We have a lot of fun here. No thread police. No #$%holes allowed. Everyone respects one another and their opinions. Good neighborhood.

Thank you for your service.  Welcome from Northern Illinois.  I hope you're buying your pellets from CookinPellets as they are located in Racine.  I drove up there in the summer of 2016 and bought 400 pounds of pellets.  Definitely going to need to get some more this summer.
