Aloha from Hawaii
« Reply #-1 on: September 07, 2014, 04:13:22 PM »
This is my first join of any forum and since I just got my new Pit Barrel Cooker, I figured I would get some advice from a lot of other enthusiasts on the how-to's and stuff.  I have read a lot of the posts and everyone here seems to be friendly and helpful, I am still learning the game, we do mostly backyard stuff here in Hawaii, not so much in the way of competition as some of you do.  I would love to get more knowledge on the tips and tricks of grilling.
Mahalo! :)

To ACW3:

Oh I love it already. Believe it or not, I got my PBC last week Wednesday and in a week's time. I made 9 slabs of babyback ribs on it and each one was crazy delicious.  I gotta teach you guys some hawaiian slang words now that I am here. Delicious is Ono  pronounced oh-no.  So.. if you read my post and I say it looks ono!  I am saying that it looks good/awesome/yummy/delicious/great with just that one word! LOL!  Oh yea, as I was saying, I cooked 9 slabs of pork ribs, 2 chuck roasts, 8 pork chops, and smoked some fish on the grate.  All in about a week's time, it was crazy. Yes, I love the PBC, its sorta my go to cooker now.
