T² - I know I'm a Newbie 'cause it says so right between my name and my photo (in case I forget).  So my Newbie question of the day is, "What's the 'Karma' thing?

The Karma thing is a soon to be removed feature I don't really see a benefit, and only potential of frustration with it....

On another site it represents positive feed back to a thread  you know if a thread has say 2 reply's it's low but if it has lets say 23 reply's it adds points.

Sorta shows who has the most active threads from what I get of it

it was a rather sophomoric method of individuals having the ability to express their approval/disapproval of each post. Mix in personality, human emotion, and some knee-jerk reaction - and you get a great cocktail.
One that like,  the Molotov-  is divisive and quickly can become a resource to segregate an otherwise harmonious group.

I saw it on other sites become a sophomoric psych. tool for snapsot evaluation of a persons credibility, and....popularity.

We ain't in high school anymore Toto .  SO I asked Rick ( admin) to axe it.

So if I offended a lot of people, I'd have a really low Karma score?  Wow, how cool is that?  Mark me down for a large negative number, please - it'll save everyone having to vote.

No...you have earn.it...by sending. A lot of  bad liquor...something tells me you do not have any...so you are stuck with just being a good guy
