Rifles?
« Reply #-1 on: September 01, 2016, 07:44:04 PM »
Not sure how many if any here are hunters or gun nuts but Wal-Mart is having an unbelievable sale on Ruger rifles. Like 50% off on some rifles. You need to ask them to actually scan the item you want to see the savings. Also not all rifles are on display so be sure to ask them to check their inventory. Anywhere from .17 hmr to 30.06.

It's been going on here all week. Not publicized and the only way to know for sure what each store has is to go and check with a store worker. Some will check inventory if you call and ask for something specific. Mostly Savage, Marlin, Ruger(American series rifles) and Mossberg shotguns. The Marlin 45/70 is a hot commodity here that most want.

It is going on nationally!

This is my rifle. There are many like it but this one is mine. My rifle is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my rifle is useless. Without my rifle I am useless. I must fire my rifle true. I must shoot straighter than my enemy, who is trying to kill me. I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will. Before God I swear this creed: my rifle and myself are defenders of my country, we are the masters of my enemy, we are the saviors of my life. So be it, until there is no enemy, but peace. Amen.

The 2 local wallys, you have to be on a waiting list to buy Ruger 10/22. They call you 1 time if now answer they move to the next person.

No luck at this Wal-Mart as far as big sales. Will check the Fairhope store this afternoon.  They do have some marked down but nothing I need...
There is a Stainless 10/22 takedown here for $336.00 . Typically 10/22's are easy to get here.

I need a good short range scope for my 1894/44 since I cant see the end of the barrel anymore. Always shot it open sites but "ageing eye" has set in...

No worries, Tommy. I've done the same thing to the occasional pesky human.
