Another New Englander
« Reply #-1 on: December 20, 2012, 02:41:47 PM »
Hi I am Patrick and I live in CT. This group was brought to my attention by some of the friends from other forums. I see a lot of familiar faces!

A little about me. I have traveled most of my adult life in the military and then with my job before settling back down in CT 2.5 years ago. Until a couple years ago I never heard of a lot of the different types of BBQ since I have only used gas and very very rarely charcoal. I discovered pellet grills while poking around the internet and the mix of technology, cooking and BBQ really was intriguing. A lot of research and annoying of my wife through my indecision I decided on a MAK 2 star... I love this grill! This summer I built a UDS (but I do not think it is that ugly  ;D which I really enjoy using also.

My real pride is my 4 year old son who likes to help me on the grill and our 6 month old daughter; she will be the baker :)

I look forward to learning from all of you!
