Welcome from cold, snowy, freezing Pittsburgh, no grilling going on here unfortunately.

Maybe next weekend!

Welcome from Idaho!

Because you can never have too much equipment, try purchasing it for your wife as a present. That's how my wife got her Thermoworks units.  ;D

Thanks to all for the warm welcome!   I do appreciate it.  Cold here today--high of 38 so far, but sunny, which helps in this country.    Supposed to be close to 60 by Tuesday, stay that way for Wednesday.   Good thing, been commissioned to do a pork butt (for pulled pork) for a Wednesday night church dinner.   Planning on rubbing it tomorrow, smoking for about 3-5 hours Tuesday, wrapping it in foil and finishing in the oven, pulling it, then just reheating it Wednesday afternoon.  Use Jeff Phillips rub and sauce recipe, with a few tweaks of my own.   Will make the sauce Wednesday and take up to the church, along with the onions and buns for the dinner.
