I can only speak for my wife.  She is doing fantastic!  She is starting to plan a visit to Houston/Galveston, maybe in early/mid April.  I'll be in touch later on that.

That looks absolutely delicious! It would be good in this crazy weather we are having. I don't have a PBC, but some chicken quarters or chicken legs thing in TBE might work as well.

Actually, chicken grilled/smoked/cooked on anything works.  If you can impart some smoke flavor into the chicken, it really amps up the flavor profile of the soup.

Art, that looks fantastic! Your pictures and detailed description make it sound even better, and make it easy to follow - thank you! This is book marked. I really like the idea of the crispy chicken skin vs. fried tortillas - that is cool!

I might be able to save you a small container's worth.  It won't come with the "chick-a-rones", however.  Tortilla strips only.
