Grandson's "Awesomest Chicken"
« Reply #-1 on: June 05, 2016, 08:37:27 PM »
Grandson smoked roasting his "Awesomest Chicken" for his brother's birthday.

He brined the chicken for 5 hours while he made his rub and glazing sauce.

Chicken smoked at 225 for 2.5 hours and roasted at 350 until done.

Nicely done! Very nice of him to cook for his brother's birthday!  And I would imagine that this was the best chicken his grandpa ever had! ;D
Happy Birthday to your grandson Art! 8)

His older brother started grilling and smoking at an early age also but that is on the back burner for now.
When he turned teenager he found out about girls.

He had to stand on a step stool to reach the grill. :)
