Well Dee asked and here is my version of Orange Chicken.
First I brined the yardbird in a simple brine with orange slices and juice

I then washed  it off and padded it down with a basic rub

I set it in the SRG till it reached 165 IT

Then the final step, glazed it with an Orange suace that I made

Here is the sauce I made
3/4 cup Orange Juice (I squeezed 5 oranges to get it)
1/3 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1/8 tsp gringer
1/4 cup sliced almonds
pinch of sea salt                     Cook it all down till thickens and brush on after the bird is cooked

Tommy..that looks good, I could definately eat that. The sauce sounds real good to me, but hubby wouldn't touch it. I also like you gringer..you type like I do so I understand it..LOL. I make lemon gahhlick sauce where you throw away the bird and use crusty bread to sop up the juices.  Pam ★*˚°。°

Here is the Orange Chicken I made Yesterday it was so good I thought why not have it tonight as leftover.

Using the Orange sauce this way really brought out the flavor of the sauce

I lkke the use of almonds with that too Tommy. Bet that adds a nice crunch and buttery flavor.

Man that is one fat chicken! The pic of the whole bird glazed with the sliced almonds looks really good.

Yesterday we finally got to use Tommy's orange sauce and it was excellent.  Not only was it good on chicken, we put some of the left over sauce in some canned green beans and it really kicked them up a notch. Dee
