½  tsp sugar
½ salt

Hey African..both of my grandparents from my dad's side  were from Romania in the early 1900's. I do not rmember anything like this, but I bet it smells familiar because grandma made everything. they grew all their own veggies and raised their own animals. Even made their own whiskey and wine. It was legal then. Going to try this recipe..thanks.

Never been a big fan of liver (any kind) but thanks for posting. It looks like something I might try if I came to visit.

I'm one of those weird ones who loves Liver & have since I was a kid; Beef Liver, Pork Liver, Chicken Liver, Fioe Gras... doesn't matter.

And Oh baby does this look good (all except the mushrooms - allergic)!

I've really like chicken livers cooked with a little sage, salt & pepper & a lot of onions. I bet that mixture would go really well in some crepes the way you did them.

I'm going have to give that a try very soon.

Great post!

Looks really, really good but so much work!  My solution for chicken livers is the deep fryer  ;D

That sounds good!  And easy, too.  My problem is I am limited to fixing liver (of any critter) only when my wife is away.  She will not eat it.  Too bad.  I eat her share, too.

african..thanks for the recipe..I will make this it looks sooo good. I'm sure grandma made stuff like this because she was always feeding us. She lived across the street from us. I have recently been finding recipe that smell like grandma's cooking..I really like that. The last thing I found was collard greens. And I just love them, and they smelled just like grandma's house.
