Rack on the Fat Boy
« Reply #-1 on: October 13, 2013, 11:42:27 AM »
Way too may posts of ribs for me not to get some going and I have not fired-up the double in a while, so that will be the cooker of choice today.

Got some bricks going

This is my first time using the baskets, so I started with one basket but I could not get the temp up above 170.  Can’t treat it like a weber.

Added a second basket and to speed the process I stole a couple of hot bricks from the first basket. It’s been an hour or so and I’m sitting at 230 solid. I will add some more heat as needed.

Rubbed the rack with some CYM and FS&B. Trimmings got some SP for a different flavor.

Temp up and ribs loaded.

Look real tasty, RAD. Looks like a little "tasty bit" might have gotten lost between the FB and the pan....  ;) ;D

Thanks everyone.

I got a pic in before they were all gone. As old as the double is it still makes some good Q. The ribs were very meaty and moist. I did not foil them at all and glad I didn't.
