Grilled Chicken Wings On The Fire Butler Griddle
« Reply #-1 on: July 02, 2016, 08:12:55 PM »
My grandson didn’t want wings tonight.  He would rather have chicken nuggets done in the oven.  Fine.  My wife and I wanted some easy wings off the grill.  I decided that I wanted to try doing the wings on the griddle.  The first picture is the wings before I did my first turn.  I added a little avocado oil to the surface of the griddle and put them on.  The rub I used was one of Rod Gray’s called Eat Barbecue.  It is a sweet rub that we like.

The next picture is when they came off the grill.

I enjoyed some of Big Dawg’s corn salad with my wings.  I was so hungry, and I didn’t want to get my phone all greasy, so I didn’t take any more pictures.

I like the way the wings came out using the griddle.  I will be doing this again.

Nice wings on the griddle. I'm going to have to check if that griddle will fit my Akorn Kamado.
