I agree with skidog. I get that it's an expensive grill however it is out on the sales floor on display so that potential buyers can have a look at it. Part of that buying process is checking out all the features. If that particular Ace Hardware wants to sell this grill they need to realize customers are going to go hands on a bit when looking at it.

Yes they do
Exactly and I am surprised that this ACE sales person acted the way he did.
I would call for a supervisor as ACE prides itself in helping unlke the big box stores.
