Nothing fancy tonight. Just smoked some bacon on the Pit Boss for some BLTs. As always, turned out amazing!!

Pellet grill bacon cannot be beat...at least not to my knowledge. It's sooooooo good!!!

I prefer it on smoke for 1 hour, then 350 til done to my liking. Try it :)

Looks delicious. What temp do you cook the bacon at?
Slow cooked for a little over an hour on the smoke setting (stayed around 185) then I bumped it up to about 350 to get a nice crisp. Turned out perfect.

Took your guy"s advise and cooked up some bacon on the pellet grill this morning.


About 1 hour at 180 degrees.


Turned grill up to 350 but only reached around 280 by the time I pulled the bacon. Learned a couple things. 1. That the right side of the grill runs hotter than the left. 2. I need to make or buy a grill extender. I had to overlap them a tad to get whole package on. 3. Pellet grilled bacon is the bomb. Perfectly crisped and not greasy. Great subtle smoke flavor which enhances but not over power.
