Steak Burrito on modified 28" Blackstone
« Reply #-1 on: June 11, 2017, 09:00:54 PM »
So I modified my Blackstone after watching what Tom did to his.  I used a little JB Weld SteelStik in the corner to stop the grease from dripping down the leg.  (I also used some plastic shims under the wheels to help with the grease flow.)  Since I don't own a Dremel tool, I just bought a galvanized 1 1/2" 90 degree elbow to help the grease drip.  I tried the new set up with some bacon and it worked awesome (no pictures since I wasn't sure if it was going to work).  However, I did take some pictures of the grilled onions and cut up ribeye (which was reverse seared on my MAK on Mother's Day and then vacuumed sealed).  The modification was easy to do and has fixed the problem of grease running down the leg.  Tom, thanks for the mod.
