I Needed a Burger......a Portobello Burger to be Exact!
« Reply #-1 on: October 05, 2017, 11:59:51 AM »
I needed a burger with all the trimmings. So I marinated a couple of shrooms caps in my favorite bbq sauce, Eat Barbecue's IPO sauce, overnight. After work I got the PK grill chugging along with a hunk of mesquite for some added smoke. Threw some serrano peps on too, they go great together!
Served on a toasted muffin with more sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion, and the peps. Plated with a cranberry bean - mango salad.
With a glass of Merlot this made for a hugely tasty meal that was real healthy too!
Peace...
