Greek Potatoes
« Reply #-1 on: January 13, 2012, 10:57:08 AM »
This recipe comes from the Mykonos restaurant on 234 in Orlando Florida. A real cute Greek guy gave me this recipe. And he was flirting with me...go figure.
Mykonos Lemon Potatoes ****** EXCELLENT ******
Peel & Slice 6 - 8 Russet potatoes into 8 long pieces. Place in pan and add lots of olive oil and a cover with chicken broth and the juice of 2 lemons. I zest mine first and then throw into the  9x13 glass pan. Salt & pepper to taste, I added some gahhlick. Cover with foil.  Place in 350º oven until done, about an 1.5 - 2 hrs. Can be smoked also.

Pam .. I live next to Tarpon Springs, a small Greek town with a sponge dock and many restaurants.  The potatoes you describe  are made at almost every one of them and are soooo good.  With your recipe I can now do them here.  YUMMY!  Phil
