I love my SRG and have contemplated getting a new one and couldn't find it on Char Broils web site, I contacted them and they said they have discontinued the SRG and it will no longer be available. Can't believe it.

You can still find them in various retailers inventory.

Walmart and Wayfair have them for sale at $171.

Right my concern is more for parts because I lobe to use mine for everything from steaks to turkeys or corn or potatoes

That is too bad, I think that it never got popular because people just didn't understand the concept. If they all belonged to LTBBQ then they would all own one after seeing what Tommy could do on it! :)

You might find some parts at Music City Metals. They have a lot of grill parts there.

I was shopping online for a new one and found one for $129 on provantage, has anybody used this site. That is too good of a deal to pass up.

I would hope that Char-Broil would keep stock on replacement parts for all the SRG owners out there.

I just found out ??? ??? I'm stunned to say the least.. I spent many hrs working with my TBE's, SRG's and BEESR's
I feel like I'm lost if I can't get parts for my units. Sad day for sure......................
I was on the CharBroil site for 20 min's chatting with Mike about this and I'm about to write them an E-Mail but I need to take a breath first :-X :-X :-X :-X
All the offer now is TBE and nothing else, I am just beside myself.

The cooking chamber and heat shield have rusted out on mine, so I was on char broil site today ordering parts and when chatting with agent she stated the following about parts for SRG:
We will continue to make parts for the SRG for the next 2-3 years before we halt production of replacement parts.

So anyone who has a SRG that they no longer use, think about keeping it for parts for other members on this forum. I used to be active in amateur radio where there were a lot of vintage radios that were kept going with parts from parted out radios. Worked there, why not here.

If I had a SRG, I would be on the horn with Char Broil customer service and find out if they are going to support all the current owner with replacement parts and if so, for how long.

But you have to assume that since the production runs will be less, the repair parts will probably be more expensive.

I am glad my Big Easy is fairly new. I am on my second one and cook on it a lot.

Boy I'm glad I saw this I love my SRG, bought my son one last year for his new house. Found one on amazon for $169, free shipping so I have a back up now. I wonder if they're going to come out with a new design or something similar?
Oh well I'm good for ten years regardless.
