Title: Christmas Prime Rib in Bradley
Post by: zueth on January 08, 2018, 12:10:08 PM
I did a 3 bone rib roast for Christmas, I did 2 hours of whiskey oak with temp at 200 and continued cooking until IT of 126.  It took about 5 1/2 hours to get to IT, then I let it rest on the counter covered with foil for 1 hour.  Then I put it in 500 degree oven for 8 minutes, then pull and carve, turned out really good and will be my go to for cooking rib roast.
