Traeger Scotch Eggs
« Reply #-1 on: December 03, 2011, 11:57:47 AM »
I made four Scotch Eggs on the Traeger Junior. Two with maple sausage with a rub of dark brown sugar & two with spicy sausage and Costco Sweet Mesquite Seasoning. I had them at "smoke" for an hour with a 50/50 mix of Bear Mountain Hickory & Applewood pellets. Then bumped up the thermostat to 225F until they had an IT of 160F ;D

So...I get 4 Scotch eggs from a lb of sausage. How many do you get? I also smoked some regular and brown sugars, might add that to the maple ones. It sure is good smoked. Thanks  Pammie ★*˚°。°
