Mighty good looking pork!
I thought y'all didn't cook pulled pork in Texas - thought it was was all beef. Glad to know it's okay now.

Touché.  Most places do sell pulled pork (sauce on the side and certainly no slaw).  I'm a Pittsburgh transplant though and like slaw on the sandwich, though I like non-cream slaw and French fries (like a proper Pittsburgh sandwich should have) even more.

Slaw on pulled pork??? Is that a real thing? SB, you're right. This is Texas and slaw is always served as a side dish.

smoke, you are just getting started as a true Texan and you will learn in good time. I'm sure that you meant to say that you will bring the slaw and beans for the sides. (ok, just funnin' with you guys)

Jaxon, beef is king in Texas, but a few places are succumbing to Yankee pressure to cook pulled pork.
