Foil Loved Ribs
« Reply #-1 on: December 03, 2011, 12:13:33 AM »
So I bought five racks of baby racks. I lightly slathered each one in CYM and then gave each one a different seasoning rub. Gunpowder, Pinch of Sizzle All Purpose Seasoning, Pinch of Sizzle Memphis Rub, Billy Bob Que's Pork Butt Rub(Thanks Southern Smoked), and Costco's Sweet Mesquite Rub. The ribs were put in the Traeger with Cherry and Pecan Pellets(50/50). I ran the thermostat at 250F with a grill temp of 265F for 2 hours. Then I pulled them out and gave them some foil love(Sweet Butter, Brown Sugar, and Honey). They were tightly wrapped with foil and placed back into the Traeger top down for another 2 hours. I normally sauce my ribs for a finish but decided not to on these. I wanted to get the full flavor of the rub, butter, sugar, and honey. And man were they good ;D
