Title: Pork Picnic Shoulder on the Grid Iron with the Savannah Stoker
Post by: HighOnSmoke on October 21, 2017, 09:13:56 PM
Between mother nature and me not covering my Grid Iron, I ended up frying the digital controller on it. I
didn't want to purchase another one and since I have seen how well the Savannah Stoker works on Art's (Savannah Smoker)
Grid Iron I decided to go ahead and purchase one. I want to thank Art for his assistance and patience in helping
me get this set up and dialed in.

Awesome Mike! Curious what happened to the old controller?

Besides getting wet, the spiders decided to build their nests inside it and when I took it off to test it I found a fairly large
beehive inside. It must have been 3"x 3". It's been in there for about 3 1/2 years and most of the time I leave it uncovered and
had no problems. I think most of the water damage came from hurricane Irma. My fault and I definitely learned my lesson.  ;)

Spider, Bees and Irma!  Well that explains it, glad it still works with the new controller!

Oh this pellet grill is built like a tank! The only thing I added to it was the downdraft hood and I also extended my chimney. I don't foresee any more problems with it.

Damn, you did they perfect.  The color was outstanding.  Nice deep smoke ring.  The sliders look great.  Two with a salad would be great.  Large milk for me buddy.  Great smoke.
