General Discussion / Just a Simple Easy Breakfast for Dinner

I didn't feel like doing anything requiring too much effort this evening so I went with pancakes and a shredded Jarlsberg cheese omelet.

I find Jarlsberg to be a nice melting cheese for grilled cheese and especially an omelet.

Sooo..... yesterday I was thinking about some kind of sandwich for dinner. It's been a while since we had meatball sandwiches so that's what it was. I browned some meatballs and then put them in red gravy to simmer for a while. While that was doing it's thing I ran to the grocery for a loaf of St. Joseph bread. Seeing some Italian sausage there made me want that as well so I grabbed a package and went home to put it on the Keg to grill just until cooked.

Let that cook on the grill just until it began to split.

I took them off the grill and brought them inside, let 'em rest a few minutes and sliced them lengthwise then into the pan with the meatballs and red gravy. After simmering for an hour or so it was time to eat.

I made mine a combo with meatballs and Italian sausage. Also threw some mozzarella sticks in the air fryer as a side.

Look closer! You can almost taste it! Lol.......

No, closer!
