New Smoker
« Reply #-1 on: January 05, 2016, 08:55:41 PM »
Hey y'all

Sorry been out for while, life just gets to happening.

My wife bought me a new smoker for Christmas. The Sausage Maker 30lb digital. Got only 2 smokes on it, sticks and garlic SS chubs. So far so good.

First smoke after seasoning was sticks.

Garlic SS chubs for 2nd smoke.

Oh and my wife and her friend thought they would be funny.

Yeah we traded the motor home in for a 40' coahmen 395rl 4 slide 5th wheel.

That is a very nice purpose built smoker. It looks perfect for your passion. Congratulations, I can't wait to see what comes out of there. You have a wonderful wife - bless you both!

New smoker is really cool! Considering the road warrior path, you are the second one I know of to go the fifth wheel route after a motorhome. Don't want to hijack the thread, but I am interested. Good to see you posting again.

Off topic too, but I would like to know the pros and cons of why you went from the motor home to the 5th wheel?  I have a pretty good idea, but getting info from someone who has experienced both would be valuable.  I am jealous of your lifestyle.
