Review and Roast Recipe
« Reply #-1 on: August 19, 2016, 03:35:04 PM »
Hi All!

We here at Dorkfood would like to thank Harvey the Reviewist for his great review of our DSV.  He details the outer features and gives a good walk through for first time users.  He also included a pretty easy but pretty yummy sounding Chuck Roast Recipe with pictures (large, glorious pictures for you all here) so readers can drool and be inspired.

We love when we get reviews out there and genuine positive experiences are awesome!

It is great to see that more folks are beginning to "get it".  There has been at least a passive resistance to Sous Vide - among even very good, experienced cooks.

I have loaned my DSV out more than I have had a chance to use it, and in EVERY case....when it is returned to me -t he person borrowing it has said - I ordered one after tasting the results that I cooked using it.

We as humans have a tendency to "stick with what works". That is fine if it is a critical life and death scenario, and no time to up-grade your education about the given subject matter. *BUT*....cooking is not usually like that. It does however require that we keep an open mind, and be flexible. That will aid us in adopting technologies into our repertoire of skills and improving the product on the plate. ;)
