Saturday Night's Alright For Pizza
« Reply #-1 on: October 08, 2016, 08:34:27 PM »
Saturday! Saturday! Saturday Saturday! Saturday! Saturday! Saturday Saturday! Saturday Night's alright......Alright alright! Oooohhh ooooohhh ooohhh oooohhhh ooooh!

Now that you've got Elton John stuck in your brain, take a look at what I made for dinner, lol.

My Wife has more pics but this will at least show you her pizza. For toppings I had shrooms, onion, pepper, homemade Italian sausage, homemade pepperoni, homemade bacon, fresh mozz, shredded mozz, parmesan, basil leafs, olive oil, Canadian Bacon. Made some fresh dough yesterday using Caputo 00 and also made some fresh sauce yesterday using San Marzanos. It was good stuff!

My Wife's pizza I think had shrooms, pep, a little bacon, sausage. I made me one with peppers, onions, sausage, bacon, Canadian bacon, shrooms, pep. 'Twas tasteh!

I also made a few variations using some of those toppings. Made 5 in all. Nothin' but bones left!

I could eat pizza almost every day I think. Later in the week I may make a BBQ Chicken one. It's been a long time. I think I'll try my normal dough recipe in the UUNI to see how well it works.

BBQ chicken is good.  I tried a Hawaiian pizza for the first time recently at a party.  I was surprised at how good it was.  There is just something about ham, pineapple, and that mix of pizza sauce and cheese that work together quite nicely.  That being said, I'm still a meat lover's on a thin crispy crust kind of guy!!!

Nice pie RG! Definitely a photogenic piece of work!
On a side note. We are moving in about 2 years and I probably still have a 2 year supply of pellets. Mrs H is concerned! Which has allowed me to float the idea of getting a Uuni2!  You know....to  help burn pellets. ;) Well she's all for it now. Peace may yet prevail! :D
