Dayum,  Merle last year and Glen Campbell this year...............

an immense talent. Super songwriter and a underrated guitarist.....Glen could really pull a guitar string.

Alzheimer's is evil...............I am sad for myself, but happy for God.....He brought a great one back home.........  My favorite Glen Campbell song:

Yes Glen was a great one. One of the best American born guitarists ever. He recorded 70 albums in his career and I would guess he played on over 300 more as one of the most sought after studio guitarists in the '60's and 70's. Got to meet "his" guitar player, John Hartford in the 80's, he wrote Gentle On My Mind, which was a huge hit for Glen.

I first saw him at a Beach Boys concert in the mid sixties. I believe he was filling in for Brian Wilson. He will be missed.
