New GMG Davy Crockett Burn-in
« Reply #-1 on: August 27, 2017, 03:05:22 PM »

After leaving my previous Green Mountain Grill Davy Crockett (DC) with my Son in Rhode Island last Summer I've been itching to get a new one to use in my RV on the road and to supplement my MAK 2 Star at home. One can never have too many wood pellet smoker-grills!

What better way to Burn-in my GMG DC than to use cookinpellets.com Premium 100% Hickory ... Man-o-Man, I love the smell of Hickory in the morning ...

Nothing smells better than a pellet grill going through the start-up procedure

Congrats on the new cooker

Thanks Pappy. My better half got an email a while back from Sam's Club announcing a one day sale on the GMG DC with WiFi at a price I couldn't refuse.

Waiting patiently for the MAK-Mini but in the interim this unit will serve me well. Extremely familiar with the unit since I owned one before.

Congrats on your new pellet pooper. You're gonna love it. I have watched Old Dave work his magic with this smoker and he turned out tons of great food. You will be turning out delicious food, too. Can't wait to see it.
