Actifry try-out
« Reply #-1 on: February 23, 2017, 02:46:20 PM »
I couldn't wait till tomorrow. I wrapped some frozen onion rings with Bacon plus just plain rings. Set the time and watched them cook. They came out crispy and the plain tasted just the same as when I deep fried them. I think I'm going to like this thing.
I did have more on the plate but I ate some for testing purposes before the picture.
Tomorrow is Pork chops with crispy potato wedges all done at once.

Very cool!  I'm liking these air fryers, and I like the auto-stir feature on yours!

Fred - do you need to add any oil to the Actifry 2? I have the Actifry 1 and it tell you to add a couple of tablespoons of oil. Still - MUCH better than a deep fryer ;)

Not on frozen onion rings etc because they have oil on them already. Skinless chicken would need oil. Right now I'm busy finding recipes to try. The difference with this one is the rotating top shelf so you can have a full meal ready at once. The top shelf is the hottest area, so potatoes on the bottom and your steak on the top.
