Pick a extra rack wih 5 skewers from Amazon Prime for $29.98.
One side is taller than the other.

I was just about ready to follow your idea Tom and make a shelf and than I found this one. ;D

They must have 2 sizes cause I bought one and it was small only obout an inch off the bottom so I didn't like and sent it back
