Wings - just wings
« Reply #-1 on: February 04, 2018, 09:56:08 PM »
Made wings on the pellet grill today. Ran at 160 degrees for 30 mins with the amaz’n tube for some extra smoke. Turned it up to 275 for another 30 mins then sprayed them with canola oil and cranked it up to 425 to crisp up - about another 20 mins.  Two sauces and a dry rub.  Asian Zing and Franks Buffalo for the sauced wings and Chipotle BBQ dry rub.

The nekkid wings look mighty good.
Then you kick 'em up a notch with the sauces.

Great lookin' wings, sir.

I finally have a weekend where I'm not traveling for work ... may be time to follow your example.  :)

Thanks Smoke - found a nice Belgian White IPA at the local brewer that worked well.

Thank you - I really like the dry rub wings the best (a big fan of the Buffalo Wild Wings Chipotle BBQ Rub).  They seem to stay nice and crisp when I cook them nekkid and then take them for a tumble in the sauce just before eating.

Thanks - sounds like a perfect weekend for wings.  The Blaz'n with your pro rack setup should be excellent for wings.  I really want to get one of those rack set ups for my Grand Slam.  It would be SO nice for jerky and wings ribs and brisket and..... well, EVERYTHING!  :D
