Smoked Watermelon!
« Reply #-1 on: March 25, 2016, 05:13:06 PM »
SMOKED WATERMELON! This simple, light, yet unique dessert is a crowd pleaser!
This works best with a super sweet watermelon (Do not chill watermelon!)
Set grill at 400.
Cut into small triangles, place on grill and smoke 5 minutes per side.
Remove, drizzle maple syrup lightly over pieces, and serve.
Even better, top with scoop of vanilla ice cream and enjoy!

Same here. I've never had a grillled/smoked fruit that didn't turn out great, but I have to admit, I'd never have thought to try watermelon.

I love grilled fruit, and melons (including watermelon) are my favorite. Never tried adding honey or ice cream - sounds
very nice!

I cut watermelon in 1 -1.5 inch slices then cut in 1/3's. Shove a popsicle stick thru the rind and throw them on the grill, then hit them with a lil honey, I brush it on, it melts when it's warm, popsicle watermelon slices..kids love them.   .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.
