Winter is stopping me from BBQ'n
« Reply #-1 on: February 12, 2017, 10:18:48 PM »
Got over a foot of snow so far today. Can't even see the BBQ let alone use it

So I threw a Pork Cottage Roll in the Dutch oven with onions, celery, carrots, peppercorns, juniper berries, and bay leaf.

Cooked that for 2 1/2 hours on low boil. Strained and saved the broth to boil cabbage.
Glazed with Dijon, Maple syrup and orange marmalade and into the rotisserie to set up the glaze.

Would have loved to smoke it on the Akorn, but still good belly full down home style cooking.

"Vegetarian" is an old Indian word for bad hunter.

I am lucky. My cookers are under an overhang on my deck, so I cook year round. We got about 6" of snow this last weekend but my PBC worked flawlessly.

YUM! There's nothing better than a meal like that on a cold blustery day.  We're getting some snow right now.
