Low Carb Breakfast Option, When Eating Out.
« Reply #-1 on: March 11, 2017, 10:29:47 PM »
This is more of a tip than a recipe...

This is now my go to breakfast at a local restaurant. Eggs Benedict with lettuce & sliced tomato instead of the typical English Muffins.  Yum!

What is the sauce recipe?

This was at a local restaurant, called "Farmer Boy" and I don't know the exact recipe.  It has all the markings of a standard Hollandaise (butter, egg yolks, a little lemon juice, salt).  I do know they make it from scratch, and they make it right!

Eliminating the English Muffins is a great way to reduce carbs but it would not work for me.
Though it looks delicious and makes good sense but I gotta have my Eggs Benedict with the muffins and suffer the consequences.  :)

I thought so at first too, but after having this 9 or 10 times now, it is so satisfying that I honestly no longer miss the English muffin at all.

Well I must agree the picture looks very appetizing and I intend to make this in the future and it turns out as well as yours.

But, always a  but, as I can't call turkey bacon, bacon nor can I call this Eggs Benedict. :)

Thanks much for posting this especially for us on a low carb diet. :) ;D
