Need Recommendations On a Quality Meat Thermometer
« Reply #-1 on: March 14, 2017, 01:36:19 AM »
Ok everyone, I love this forum and trust the suggestions of my fellow grilling folks. I'm looking for recommendations on a quality meat thermometer?

Thank you in advance!

Definitely agree with this! The best there is in my opinion. If you are also looking for a grill thermometer then go with the ThermoWorks Smoke. Best combo there is!

A Thermapen is a handy tool to have around, both for BBQ and in the kitchen for checking doneness levels of stuff.  It'll cost you around $70-80 if you wait for one of their frequent sales.  The "pop" is only about $30 and pretty handy, too.

Thermoworks. I do the legion bbq's and use it exclusively. People watching are amazed at how fast it is.
When you are cooking 200 chicken breasts with 3 barbeques going, you need speed.

I have a Thermoworks Chef Alarm but going to upgrade to the Smoke. That is the Cats Meow from what I've read.
