Quick question regarding my new Pit Boss 700FB
« Reply #-1 on: March 20, 2017, 09:47:45 PM »
So I have a quick question regarding my new Pit Boss 700FB.

I thought I had read somewhere on here that when initially starting up your grill for the very first time you need to run it for a certain amount of time.
Does anyone know how long and at what temp?

Thank you in advance.

Do you have your owners manual? I would refer to it. I can't find mine but I think it is 400 degrees for one hour...........

What Smoke said. You just want to be sure to burn off any of the residue from manufacturing/painting. That stuff does not add a positive aspect to your BBQ.... ;) 8)

Appreciate it! I'm new to Pellet Grill cooking so this all new territory for me LOL.

Think my first cook will be chicken. Will post pics when done. Wish me luck!
