Joey Sutphen is the creator of the very now hard to find "Texas Thunder" seasonings.

These Joey-isms always crack me up

This stuff is sooooo good(!) it will make you bring back things you didn't even steal!

smoke, never heard of "Texas Thunder" seasonings, but I do like the Joey-isms.

I used to get it through Tiernan Industries. They made the Son of a Brisket smoker. Sadly, they ended their grill making production and they were the only ones around to distribute Jerrys seasonings.

I find Texas Thunder rub to be very similar to Texas Brothers Bbq rub. Both are not salty or hot, a tad on the sweet side. Very similar to Savor Spices Fine Swine and Bovine.
